Our primary focus is on textile/fiber art, although mixed media is also accepted. Since we're primarily a restaurant, great care is taken to protect the artwork. In the main dining room, work is displayed inside shadowbox frames with glass "doors"; it is for this reason that work is limited to no greater than 13"x13" and no deeper than 1/2 ". Of course, work may be smaller and does not need to be square. In the gallery work is able to be hung without concern, and therefore the size limitation is 24"x36". Each piece is given plenty of "breathing room" and clearly labeled including the title, artist, price, and, if desired, a brief statement. Your work will be insured while in our care. Typically the work of several artists will be on display at any one time; work is rotated every 6 weeks on a staggered schedule. All work on display at the Gallery will also be displayed and offered for sale on the Gallery's website.

If you're interested in exhibiting in our Gallery, please send the following (there is no charge to the artist for portfolio review):

electronic submissions:

zip and email to gallery@kingscornercafe.com

OR provide a link to your website with all pertinent info.

hard copy submissions:

Upon acceptance of your portfolio, we'll send you an agreement for your signature (available upon request), assign you a spot on the exhibition schedule and notify you of the dates. Approximately 4 weeks before your exhibit is scheduled to begin, you must submit images of the actual pieces to be sent to the Gallery for approval. Once given the okay, send your pieces to the Gallery, prepaid. Each piece should be accompanied by a "care and handling" instruction sheet that will be given to the buyer. Any work remaining unsold at the end of the exhibit period will be returned to the artist, insured and prepaid by the Gallery.
